Humanitarian response in WASH and Food Security is a project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office(GFFO) and jointly implemented by Action for Social and Economic Progress(ASEP) and arche noVa. This project focuses on several districts in Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia and Sudan where access to basic inclusive Water Sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services is limited due to the prevailing severe droughts and where communities are struggling with the effects of locust invasion, Covid-19 pandemic, conflicts and disease outbreaks among others that has disrupted their livelihoods. The main outcome of the project is to Improve access to emergency and sustained water, sanitation, food security and strengthen resilience for IDPs and communities in Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, and Sudan. Overall, the project reached 156900 beneficiaries
